It’s facebook-official, so the rumors have been confirmed. Marielle will officially become a resident of the state of Missouri on January 13th. She will be living in the Central West End by Forest Park and working at Trailnet, a bicycle advocacy non-profit. She’ll have to post the details later, or, better yet, stop by her apartment and ask her in person

Congratulations, Marielle! What exciting news. More details, please. Kathy
That is wonderful!! I hope you have decent weather for your move:)

Exciting! Love the Central West End area.
How exciting!! Can’t wait to see you!
Had one last bike ride last week when Libby was here. Bikes now put away for the winter. Might be swayed to rack them and head south in the spring if someone could recommend a cool trail in the STL metro area.
BTW, I have a brother who lives in STL. He comes to the Pokey area frequently. If you’re interested in a ride to Grandma B’s I could give you the contact info.
Looking forward to seeing you again.
Hi Everyone!
I will be arriving in St. Louis on Jan 14th. I will working for Trailnet, a bicycle advocacy non profit in St. Louis. They do very cool work- including the trail across the river. John, when I get to St. Louis, I’m sure I will have more than enough bike maps for you.
I sent in an application for an apartment in the Central West End today. If I get the apartment, I will let everyone know where I’ll be. And I am hoping to establish a fold-out sofa fund, so I can afford a good sofa for all of my baseball season guests
I can’t wait to see everyone very soon!
-Marielle
BTW, here is trailnet’s website: http://www.trailnet.org/
April 13-15, opening weekend @ Busch…Cards vs. Cubs!!!! I am 90% sure I will be there. Marielle forgot to mention that if she gets her 1st choice apartment in the CWE, she will also be hosting pool parties every weekend

I went to the trailnet.org and couldn’t see anything about nude biking in STL. I guess it was rumor that Trailnet hired you thinking, “West Coast — Nude Biking. Like same!”
Actually I did surf to Trailnet.com. It looks like an established organization with an admirable mission. Do you know yet what they are going to have you working on, assuming the rumor is incorrect?
I’ll be working on their Travelgreen position, which focuses on bicycle commuting. They are just now expanding the program, so I think they are not sure what they will have me working on either. I will be doing some work in the planning department as well.
The World Naked Bike Ride happens all over the globe. If you want to find out about the nearest ride, or start one, this website has all of the info: http://wiki.worldnakedbikeride.org/index.php?title=Main_Page
Will you be starting a naked bike ride in STL?
They have had one since 2008. This year, there will be two Northern hemisphere dates, so maybe STL can double their bike nudity!
